West Florida went up early on the Bulldogs with a goal from Jerry Wiltshire assisted by Barrett Mills seven minutes into the game. The Argonauts added another goal five minutes later by Sean Hoffstatter.Â

The Bulldogs ended the first half down 2-0. West Florida outshot Union 5-3 in the first 45 minutes.Â

In the second half, both teams played even until the seventieth minute when
Ibrahim Nasr scored Union's first goal off a header, assisted by
Cole Asfour, making the score 2-1.Â

The Argonauts quickly responded to Union's goal with a score from Sergio Otalora. In the 79th minute, Rafael Godol scored off a penalty kick for West Florida for the final goal of the night.Â

Union was outshot by West Florida 18-12 in the match, including 11-6 on goal. The Argonauts led Union 8-4 in corner kicks and in fouls, 13-8.Â

William Valencia led Union with four shots with two on goal.
Euan Morton was in the goal for Union all 90 minutes, recording seven saves.Â
