JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University baseball team lost 6-0 at home Tuesday night to Trevecca Nazarene University. Union managed just four hits in the game and did not get a runner to third base in the entire game.

WHAT HAPPENED
- Trevecca Nazarene struck first with three runs in the top of the first. Union starter Landon Walker got the first batter swinging and was 0-2 on the second hitter. However, a walk, an error, a hit-by-pitch and three hits later, the Trojans led 3-0.
- TNU added to their lead in the third inning on a 2-RBI double with no outs from Hurt. Union changed pitchers with Joe Hudson relieving Walker. Hudson struck out the side to keep the score at 5-0.
- Hudson pitched three scoreless innings, but hit two consecutive batters in the sixth and was pulled in favor of Austin Kitterman. Kitterman got a strikeout, but then gave up a single, driving in the sixth run of the game for TNU.
- In the bottom of the seventh, Sutton entered the game in relief for TNU starter, Shultz. Shultz's last four outs in the game came by way of the strikeout.
- Three Union pitchers tossed the final three scoreless innings, but the Bulldog offense never got going.
