JACKSON, Tenn. - The Union University men's soccer team dropped their third straight match on Sunday afternoon after falling to Lee University 3-0. The Bulldogs fall to 3-7 on the season and 1-3 in Gulf South Conference action.

Lee scored their first goal of the match in the 19th minute when Drew Jackson netted a shot off the pass from David Perez inside the box.

The Flames added to their lead in the 79th minute when Perez got a goal of his own with Jose Orellena on the assist. Lee put the game away in the 82nd minute with Orellana scoring for the Flames.

The Bulldogs had eight shots on the goal put could not find the back of the net to avoid the shutout. It was a physical game on the pitch with Union given three yellow cards as well as a red card.

Union continues action at home hosting Alabama Huntsville Friday, October 7th, at 7:15 p.m.
