Brett Barry recently posted a record-setting round of golf in Delta State University's Darrell Foreman Invitational. The event took place at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Miss. Barry shot a record round of 63 (9-under par) in the first round. He added a 67 in the second round to win the individual title by six strokes. Barry led Union to the tournament championship as they won the event by 18 strokes, also a record for the team. Barry's play help lead Union's entire team of five golfers to finish at or below par for the tournament.

Barry is a senior with Union and is the two-time reigning TranSouth Conference Golfer of the Year. He is a native of Jackson, Tenn. and is a former Jackson Christian School standout.
