Kelly Robey was named the Gulf South Conference and Tennessee Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week for the week ending, Apri 26, 2015. Robey, a 5-foot-10 senior from New Madrid, Mo., posted a 5-0 record on the week. She tossed all five games for Union, earning complete games in each win. She had three shutouts on the week with a 1.00 ERA in 35.0 innings of work. She recorded 48 strikeouts, allowed just five runs and walked only six on the week. Robey also became just the second player in Union softball history to surpass 1,000 career strikeouts. This season, Robey leads the GSC with 28 wins (28-12). She has struck out 317 batters in 249.2 innings of work.
