Before Union
Bowling prepped at Fayette (Tenn.) Academy where he played four years of basketball and one season of tennis. In 2013, he helped lead his basketball team to the district title. During his high school career, Bowling was named district MVP, all-district first team three times, and all-district second team once. Bowling averaged 19 points, seven rebounds, and two assists per game as a junior. Posted 13 3-pointers in a game once, scored a career high of 41 points in a game, and had back-to-back games of 38 points. Off the court, Bowling was selected as Mr. Fayette Academy in Who's Who and was president of the Pep Club.
