Emily Bennett helped Union take a game from No. 11 Alabama Huntsville this weekend. In doing so, she helped Union moved one step closer to clinching a spot in the GSC Tournament. Bennett also hit her first career home run in the series at UAH. Over the last nine game, Bennett has the high batting average on the team at .481. She has reached base safely in nine straight games and has hit in eight of her last nine games, including five straight. Bennett is a freshman right fielder from Dyersburg, Tenn.
