Union University's Amy Philamlee has been named the Gulf South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week and the Tennessee Sports Writers Player of the Week for the week ending February 15, 2015. This is Philamlee's second straight GSC Player of the week honor and fourth of the season. It is the second TSWA Player of the Week honor and fourth of the season for Philamlee.
 
Philamlee, a 5-foot-5 senior guard from Jonesboro, Ark., helped Union to a 2-0 week and tighten the grip on the top spot in the the GSC. She posted a career high 36 points in a win over Valdosta State. She then followed that with 25 points, including 24 second half points as Union topped West Florida. For the week, she averaged 30.5 points, 7.5 assists, and six rebounds per game. She added two steals on the week. She shot 56 percent (14-25) from the field, 46 percent (6-13) from 3-point range and 84 percent (27-32) from the free throw line.
