Lydia Wright is a senior public relations major and marketing minor. She has been a four-year starter for the Lady Bulldog volleyball team and has passed career milestone marks of 2,000 assists and 1,000 digs. She is from Nolensville, Tenn.

I have one cat named Bruce.
What drives you every day?Â
The ability I have been blessed with to do the things I love every single day and the fact that I can hopefully influence others through that. Â
What is your favorite food?Â

What is your athletic goals this year? Â
I intend to be a leader for my teammates this year and make an impact in the GSC by winning some conference games on the road, we have never done that while playing in the GSC. Â
Where do you like to vacation?Â
Anywhere that has a beach.
Who do you admire? Why?Â
My dad, because he has always encouraged me to do the things that make me happy and thus has always supported me in whatever decision I ended up making. He is also one of the most selfless people I know and inspires me to serve others daily.
What is the kindest thing anyone has done for you?Â
This past week I had a lot going on with my classes, and while I was studying for a big test, my roommate brought me Starbucks. It meant a lot to me for her to go out of her way and buy me coffee as she recognized how stressed I was and in that encouraged me to get through studying. Â
How do you want to be remembered?Â
I hope that the legacy I leave behind is one that is encouraging and selfless. I have found that being an encouragement to others is a great way to serve them.  Â
