Sara Johnson is a senior nursing major on the women's soccer team from Jackson, Tenn.

What type of pets do you have?
I have a fiest puppy named Mac. I have had him since third grade, where I use to push him in strollers and hold him like a baby.

If you could be any superhero who would you be? Why?
The Hulk because I could be super strong for once!

What word describes you best?
Goofy

What drives you every day?
Each night I make a list of things that I need to get done for the next day. So I guess that is what drives me. I live by lists.

What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is fruit. Particularly Honeydew. Or sweets. Particularly strawberry cake.

What is your Athletic goal this year?
My athletic goal is to score a goal from a header.

Where do you like to vacation?
I love the white, sandy beaches of Florida. Anywhere with palm trees, sand, and the ocean makes me extremely happy!

Who do you admire?
I admire my grandmother most. She is always positive, always encouraging, always supportive, always listens, always prays and ALWAYS dresses to perfection.

What traits in others are you attracted to?
I’m attracted to leadership and confidence. Those are both things that I have struggled with my whole life and so naturally I admire people with those qualities so much.

What is the kindest thing anyone has done for you?
During highschool, I got grounded for a month and I remember being so upset.  My best friend Brittny surprised me and had a sweet tea waiting for me at school the next day.

How do you want to be remembered?
I want to be remembered as someone who didn’t have to say the best prayers or be a captain or give the most amazing speeches to be a good example because everyone is different. I want people to remember it from my actions. I want people to see that I love others because I love Jesus.

You have the opportunity to speak at your high school, what one thing do you say?
After being on my own for just a couple weeks, I’ve realize the most important thing for me. I would encourage them to have a faith that is their own. Not their parents, not their friends, not one that high school has enforced on you. College is a time where you may make your own major life decisions. It is important to know where you stand so that you can hear what the Holy Spirit puts inside your heart.
