Union University Athletics

Ted Kluck accepted the position of Faculty Athletics Representative in June 2021. He is currently working as a Assistant Professor of Communication Arts at Union University. He came to Union in the fall of 2015 as ain instructor.

Kluck earned his M.F.A degree from Ashland University in 2013 and his B.A. degree at Indiana University in 1998. 

Kluck is the author of over twenty-five books on topics ranging from Mike Tyson to professional indoor football to the evangelical church. He is a syndicated columnist for The Jackson (Tenn.) Sun and USA Today, and his journalism has appeared in ESPN the Magazine, ESPN.com, and Christianity Today. 

Kluck  played football at the small-college level, professional-indoor and international levels (France), and has coached high school and small-college football. He once managed a professional heavyweight boxer.   

Kluck is screenwriter and co-producer on the forthcoming feature film "Silverdome" and is an assistant professor of journalism at Union University (TN).
