Before Union
Sample prepped at Nettleton High School where she played four years of high school volleyball and softball, and three years of high school bowling. She played seven years on Arkansas Jr Storm volleyball team and five years on Arkansas Chaos softball team. She helped lead her team to four semi-finalists. She was named Newcomer of the Year her freshman year, Offensive Player of the Year in 2015, she was named to the All-Conference team in 2015-19, Max Preps/AVCA Player of the Week in 2016 and 2018, All-State in 2016 and 2018, All-State Tournament Team in 2017 and 2018, and was recognized by Jonesboro Sun Newspaper as Best Under the Sun in Volleyball in 2017. Off the court she was a member of the National Honors Society, was a member of the Student Council for four years, was the Student Council Secretary senior year, was EAST Class-Student of the Year in 2015 and was a member of the Optimist Club, winning the Youth Appreciation Award in 2018.
