William Carter graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2024. In 2026, earned master’s degree from Wake Forest University in biomedical engineering. Member of Wake Forest University baseball student analytics team. 

Carter is currently in physical therapy school at the University of Memphis - Lambuth. He is the husband of head coach Emma Carter.
