Before Union
Lytle transferred to Union from Northwest Mississippi Community College where she played two years of basketball. She was named all-region, all-state, first team All-American and was selected as the JUCO National Player of the Week once. As a sophomore at NWMCC, she averaged 17 points and eight rebounds after averaging 11 points and five boards as a freshman. She shot 51 percent from the field and 71 percent from the free throw line. She scored her career high of 29 points twice at NWMCC. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Lytle prepped at Evangelical Christian School where she played basketball. She was named all-region and all-tournament while at ECS. Her sister Bethany is also a member of Union's women's basketball team.
