Biography

2011...played in all 36 matches and 129 sets...recorded 326 digs, 49 aces, and 23 kills. 2012...played in 129 sets...recorded 131 kills, 571 assists, 38 aces, 278 digs, 37 blocks.  2013...played in 129 sets...recorded 105 kills, 883 assists, 48 aces, 311 digs, and 37 blocks...named Gulf South Conference Academic Honor roll and named NCCAA Mid-East All-Region team. 2014... played in 118 sets... recorded 623 assists, 44 kills, 33 aces and 295 digs... GSC Academic Honor Roll.


Before Union
Wright prepped at Ravenwood (Tenn.) High School where she played volleyball and basketball. Wright helped lead her volleyball team to the Tennessee 3A State Title in 2010 and a state runner-up finish in 2009. In both seasons, her teams captured district and region titles. Wright was named all-district once and team captain twice in volleyball. She tallied 83 aces and 909 assists as a senior. In basketball, her team earned a district title in 2010. As a basketball player, Wright earned all-district, all-region and co-captain honors.
