Before Union
Pereira played high school soccer at St. Benedict's HS in South Africa. He played five years of soccer, five years of rugby, two years of tennis, and three years of basketball. He led his team to the VW Title in 2017 and the Gauteng Development League Title in 2018. Pereira was named soccer team captain in 2023 and was named the MVP of the 2023 Saints Festival. He led his team in both goals and assists in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Off the field, Pereira earned the Public Speaking Gold Certificate in 2022, academic senior full colors in 2022-23, Bilingualism Award in 2022-23, and the history top achiever in 2023.
