Before Union
Hamill played both volleyball and beach volleyball at St. Johns River State College before transferring to Union. She was named a 2023 National Runner Up, All-FCSAA/All-NJCCA Region 8 First Team, and All-FCSAA/NJCCA Region 8 Pair for beach volleyball.

Before college, Hamill prepped at Meridan State College in Sunshine Coast, Australia where she participated in track and field for nine years and played volleyball for eight years. She was named College Volleyball Player of the Year in 2019 and 2022, Team of the Year - Beach Volleyball 2021, and MVP in 2018 and 2020.

Off the court, Hamill was Top of Class Biology 2019 and Top of Class Physical Education. In 2021, Hamill received Top of Class Certification in Fitness.
