Before Union
Wolfe prepped at Athens High school where she played volleyball for four years. She also played two years for the NASA Volleyball Club and two years for the Madison Volleyball Club. During high school, she was named team co-captain, team MVP, Golden Eagle Award, 6A All-Area Team, Applebee's North Alabama Volleyball Player of the Week in 2017, Co-Captain Varsity Team, and led her team to the first North 6A Super Regional Tournament appearance in Athens High School Volleyball history. In Wolfe's career, she posted 201 aces, 458 kills, and 57 blocks.  Off the court, she was in the BETA Club, Student Council Association, SCA Representative, Top Eagle Award, and Honor Roll. Gentry's parents, Micky and Stacy Wolfe are graduates of Union, while Micky was an All-American golfer for the Bulldogs.
