Christa Hutchison Fabre is entering her fifth season after being named the volleyball assistant coach in August of 2017.
The Jackson, Tenn. native comes to Union after serving as the head coach for high school and middle school at the University School of Jackson in 2016-17. She also coach the 15U team with the Jackson Juniors.Â
Fabre graduated college from Lee University in 2012 with a degree in early childhood eduction. She spent four years playing volleyball at Lee, making the NAIA National Tournament all four years, including the semifinals, each of her last three seasons. Fabre was named All-American honorable mention as a senior. She was also on the Dean's List at Lee throughout her four years. After graduation, Fabre went on a mission trip called the World Race with Adventures in Missions. She then attended a discipleship program and led a squad for a Gap Year program with the same organization.Â
Fabre graduated high school from Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson where she played volleyball and tennis.Â
Fabre was married to her husband Joe, June 22, 2019. She is the daughter of Keith and Julie Hutchison and she has one sister, Amanda Hutchison Coyle. Coyle played four years of volleyball at Union from 2005-08 where she graduated second on the all-time kills list.Â
