2017: GSC Academic Honor Roll

Before Union
Taylor transferred to Union from Trevecca Nazarene University where she played two years of volleyball. While at Trevecca, Taylor led her team to the 2015 conference title and appearance in the NCAA Region Tournament. She was named to the all-freshman team and second team all-conference as a 2015. She was also named athlete of the week twice. Off the court, Taylor was on the Dean's List twice. Taylor prepped at Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson where she played four years of volleyball. She also played four years of club ball. She helped lead her team to a state runner-up finish in 2015. Taylor was named all-district four times and district MVP twice. She earned Jackson Sun All-West Tennessee four times, including hitter of the year as a junior and player of the year as a senior. Taylor was all-state four times and played in the Tennessee All-Star Game as a senior. Taylor is first in the state for most kills in a match, seventh for most kills in a career and sixth for most kills in a season. She was a member of the National Honors Society, Teen Advisor Mentor and was a TCA Student Ambassador.

Born July 17...daughter of Scott and Franky Taylor...majoring in elementary educational as whe works to become a teacher.
