Biography

2016...freshman season.

Before Union
Funk prepped at Wheaton Academy (Ill.) where she played four years of volleyball. She also played four years of club volleyball. She helped lead her team to three tournament titles and a 2014 region title. Funk also helped win two club tournament titles including the Windy City Power League and the Top Flight Tournament. She was named varsity team captain, MVP and all-conference. Funk also holds all school records in girls power lifting. She was named the Energy Recruit Me All-Tournament and Windy City Power League Academic Team. Off the court, Funk earned the IHSA Scholarship Achievement Award, high honors, National Honors Society, state scholar and the Wheaton Academy American Citizenship Award.

Born December 22...daughter of Greg and Linda Funk...studying to become a missionary after college.
