Before Union
Alihodzic prepped at Catholic School Center where she played four years of volleyball. She also played seven years of club volleyball in Zagreb and Sarajevo. Alihodzic led her teams to several championships including a National Championship of Croatia in 2014-15. Her teams also posted a runner-up, a third place, and two fourth place finishes in the national tournament. Her high school team finished second in Sarajevo Competitions. Off the court, Alihodzic was class president, a member of the Debate Club, Art Club, Choir, and the Photography Club. She earned extraordinary academic achievement in high school.
