Before Union
Abshere prepped at Zion Christian Academy where she played two years of high school soccer. She played 10 years of club soccer. Abshere's teams have won numerous championships including one State Cup Championship. She was named all-academic and all-district in Maury County as a junior. As a senior, Abshere earned the Heard of the Eagle Award in women's soccer at Zion Christian. Off the field, Abshere was a member of the National Honors Society and the National Honors Science Society. She won the Language Arts and Statistics Awards, was named to the Principal's List twice, and earned the Marilyn Waldrop Memorial Scholarship.
