Before Union
Patterson is from Olive Branch, Miss. And prepped at Southern Baptist Educational Center. While at SBEC, she played soccer, basketball, softball, and ran track. In soccer, Patterson was named all-state once, all-district four times, Best of Preps once, earned Most Outstanding award four times, and was selected to the Tennessee Soccer All-Star team. In basketball, she was named all-district twice, Best of Preps once, and earned the Most Outstanding Award once. Patterson was named the Female Athlete of the Year twice. She was a four year starter in soccer and holds the school record for most goals in a game (5), most goals in a season (25), and most career goals (81). She also holds the school’s track records for 800m (2.31), 1600m (5.53), and 3200m (13.03). Patterson is the daughter of Ryan and Adrienne Richardson, and Jamie and Sherri Patterson, and is a member of the Avondale Missionary Baptist Church. Patterson will major in broadcasting as she works to become a sports broadcaster.
