Before Union
Gama prepped at Extrenato Ribadouro. Gama played club soccer with Lank Vilaverdense Futebol, SC Braga, Hernani Gonçalves, FC Foz, Dragon Force FC Porto, and Boavista Futebol Clube. During this time, Gama was a two-time Vice National Champion U19, Interassociation tournament Champion, and two-time District Champion. She was honored with being the best scorer of Interassociation tournament, MVP of a second division National game and summer tournament, and second best scorer of the National Championship U19. Off the field, Gama was a three-time Academic Merit Certificate recipient.
