Before Union
Heydari transferred to Union from the University of Memphis where she played one season as a sophomore, following her freshman season at Mississippi State University. Heydari prepped at the University School of Jackson where she played soccer and ran track for four seasons. She helped lead her USJ team to back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior. In track, she was named all-state in the 4x8 team relay. In soccer, Heydari earned all-state, all-region, and all-district in each of her four seasons of high school. She broke the school record with 149 goals and 30 assists. Heydari was named the Jackson Sun Offensive Player of the Year twice and was the District 13AAA MVP. Heydari was selected to play for the Tennessee Olympic Development Program in 2009 and 2010, winning the Region III Premier League central title, and making the Southern Region quarterfinals, and USYS Tennssee DI State finals. She played club soccer for the Lady Lobos' in 2009-10 season, winning the CASL title and advancing to the state DI finals. At the University of Memphis, she played for a team that advanced to the NCAA DI Final Four. While at Mississippi State, she was named SEC Freshman of the Week once. During the summer of 2014, she played for the Women’s Premier Soccer League. Off the field, Heydari participated in several clubs including the International Club, Spanish Honors Society, Art Honors Society, SADD, and the Key Club.
