Before Union
Peterson prepped at Archbold High School where she played four years of soccer and basketball, two years of softball and one year of track. She was also participated on the Greater Toledo Football Club for two years. She helped lead her team to two NWOAL Championships and two District Championships. She was named Second Team NWOAL and First Team NWOAL three times. She was NWOAL Player of the Year and District Player of the Year in 2017. She played in the 2017 District All Star Game and was named Second Team All Ohio in 2016 and 1st Team All Ohio in 2017. Off the field she won the Academic Excellence Award four times and the Scholarly Athlete once. She was on the student council for four years and was a member of the National Honor Society.
