Bryson Lee

Bryson Lee joined the Union University women's soccer coaching staff in the Spring of 2022 as an assistant coach. Lee brings several years of playing and coaching experience to the staff. To go along with a 5-year college playing career at the NCAA D1 and D2 levels, Lee was a part of the coaching staff at Highland Football Club (Asheville, NC) where she was a coach within the youth academy program. Her focus was goalkeepers where she trained keepers from the ages of 5-18.  

Lee played one season for Union in the fall of 2021 after a four year career at the University of North Carolina Asheville. In her graduate season at Union, Lee started all 15 matches for Union, working 1,268 total minutes in goal. She recorded 113 saves and ranked third the Gulf South Conference with a .825 save percentage. Lee was named second team All-GSC and was named to the GSC Honor Roll.

During her four seasons at UNC Asheville, she recorded 136 saves and played 2,684 minutes in goal. In addition to her college career, she played three summers playing for the semi-pro team, WPSL in Asheville City. 
 

Lee prepped at Hunt High where was a multi-sport athlete playing tennis, basketball, soccer, and running track. Lee's accolades include two-time big east defensive player of the year four-time all-conference selection, three-time all-region selection, and two-time all-state selection. Off the field she was the SGA president, and a member of National Honors Society.
