Before Union
Simas prepped at Trinity Christian (Tenn.) Academy where she played varsity soccer. She helped lead her team to a district title in 2010, while posting a region runner-up finish in 2010 and a district runner-up finish in 2011. Simas was named MVP, All-West Tennessee and was twice awarded the Lion Award. She played her club soccer for the Tennessee Rush Jackson team. Off the field, Simas was a member of the National Honors Society, junior class representative, student ambassador, Spanish Club and Beta Club. She was also the co-founder and vice president of the Art Club. She is the daughter of Clovis and Doris Simas. Her father is the head coach for the Union men's team.
