Before Union
Dunn prepped at the University School of Jackson where she played five years of varsity soccer and softball. She also played nine years for the Jackson Wolves Soccer Club. While at USJ, she helped lead her soccer team to the 2011 TSSAA State title and a 2013 state runner-up finish. In softball, she led the squad to a 2012 state title and a 2013 state runner-up finish. Dunn's Jackson Wolves club team won the state title in 2013. In soccer, Dunn was named all-district, all-district MVP, all-region, all-region tournament MVP, Coaches All-State, Sportswriters All-State, All-West Tennessee first team and All-West Tennessee Player of the Year. In 2015, Dunn became the only player in West Tennessee, not including Memphis, to be named to the NSCAA All-South Region Team. Dunn's soccer stats included scoring 105 goals and dishing out 63 assists, putting her in USJ's career top-5 in goals and top-2 in assists. As a softball player, Dunn was named all-district, all-region tournament, Coaches All-State, Sportswriters All-State and first team All-West Tennessee. Dunn set a school record as a junior, stealing 27-of-27 bases. She also scored the game winning walk-off run for USJ in the 2012 state championship game. In the summer of 2016, Dunn was named the Jackson Sun West Tennessee Female Athlete of the Year. Off the fields, Dunn was a Hoby Scholar Award winner, National Honors Society, four time All-Northwest Honor Choir, National Spanish/Chemistry Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and USJ Scholar Honor Roll.
