Before Union
Young prepped at Gilbert Classical Academy where she ran Track and Cross Country for all four years. Young helped lead her team to win the Arizona Interscholastic Association Division 4 Section East championship. She was awarded with the MVP of her XC team all four years, MVP of the Track team (2022), 2x Athlete of the Year for Gilbert Classical Academy (2021,2022), Team captain of the XC team. She holds school records in 5k, 3200, 1600, 800, and 4x800. In the classroom Young was the Valedictorian for the class of 2022, a member of the National Honors Society, and the Head of activities for the Future Doctors Club.Â
