Before Union
Knee prepped at Forest Hills Northern where she played her final years of high school basketball. She played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Calvin Christian High School. Knee also played three years of club basketball. She helped win two conference titles and a district title in high school. During her high school years, she was named all-state twice, all-conference three times, and all-area three times. Knee finished in the top 20 in the state of Michigan for free-throw shooting and led west Michigan with 23 points per game in 2017. As as senior, Knee was the Grand Rapids Player of the Year, season MVP, played in the Grand Rapids All-Star Game, top 20 free throw shooter in the state, and third best 3-point shooter in the stats. She scored over 1000 points in just three years of basketball, averaging 18 points per game in her career. She graduated as the second leading scorer in Forest Hills Northern High School in just two years. Off the court, she was on the honor roll all eight semesters in high school.
