Before Union
Cauble prepped at Oran High School where she played four years of high school softball and basketball. she also played basketball for the Southeast Dynasty for three years. Cauble graduated as the all-time leading scorer in the state of Missouri history. She helped lead her team to the District Championship four years in a row and sectionals three years in a row. Her team finished fourth in the state. She was named MVP four times, all-state four times, all-district four times, Southeast Missourian Girls' Basketball Player of the Year three times, SEMOBALL girls basketball player of the year twice, and conference player of the year four times. Cauble was also named to the All-USA Missouri girls basketball team. She recorded over 2,000 points during her time at Oran. As a senior, she averaged 36.5 points, eight rebounds, two steals, and six assists per game. In her junior year, she averaged 35 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and five assists per game. Off the floor, she was the FCA treasurer, STUCO representative, honor roll, student council, and graduated fifth in her class.
