Before Union
Bodiford prepped at McNairy Central (Tenn.) High School where she played basketball, softball and volleyball. In basketball, she was a three time all-district, 2012 District MVP, all-region, three time All-West Tennessee, including first team in 2011 and 2012. Bodiford was the second leading scorer in McNairy Central history with 1,323 career points dating back to the beginning of 5-on-5 play in 1979. She holds four school records including most points in a half, most three pointers in a game, most three pointers in a season, and most three pointers in a career. Bodiford helped lead her high school basketball team to the district tournament title in 2011 and a district regular season title in 2012. Off the court, Bodiford was named to the McNairy Central Hall of Fame, was a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, was named a Tennessee Scholar, MCHS Princess, MCHS Queen, and was voted Most Beautiful.
