Before Union
Hogue transferred to Union from Harding University where she played one season in 2016-17. She averaged 13.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. In 2017, she was named D2CCA All-Region, Central Region Tournament MVP, All-Central Region Tournament, GAC Newcomer of the Year, All-GAC, and GAC All-Tournament. She helped lead Harding to the NCAA D2 national semifinals in 2017. Prior to Harding, Hogue spent one year at the University of Nebraska-Omaha where she played in 30 games, averaging 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Hogue prepped at Arkansas Baptist High School where she played basketball and softball. She also played AAU basketball for Team Arkansas Elite and san Antonio's Finest. Hogue was named all-conference four times and all-state three times. She averaged 16 points and 12 rebounds per game in her junior and senior seasons. She blocked 998 shots in high school, setting the Arkansas state high school record and was second all-time in the nation. Hogue was named a McDonalds All-America nominee.
