Before Union
Lytle transferred to Union from Northwest Mississippi Community College where she played two seasons. She helped lead her team to a division title and was named to the all-star team. As a freshman, Lytle played 21 games, averaging 7.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. She missed the 2013-14 season with injury. In 2014-15, she played in all but three games averaging 9.2 points, four rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. She finished the season with a team high 100 assists and was third in scoring. She was also on the Dean's List at NWMCC. Lytle was homeschooled and played basketball for the Memphis Homeschool Association. Her teams claimed three National Tip-Off Titles and three region championships. She was named All-American three years, was a Maravich Award winner, Sullivan Award winner, named Best of the Preps twice and was named all-tournament six times. Lytle also played one year for the Memphis Elite AAU team.
