Before Union
Chivers transferred to Union from Moberly Area Community College where she played one season of basketball. She was named MVP, first team all-region and earned the Rebounding Award. She led her team in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, field goal percentage and free throw percentage as she averaged 14.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks, while shooting nearly 47 percent from the field and 73.5 percent from the free throw line. She recorded 11 double-doubles during the season and scored in double figures in 27 of 32 contests. She was on the honor roll at MACC. Chivers prepped at Hogan Preparatory Academy where she played basketball and ran track and field. She was named first team all-district and was member of the National Honors Society.
