Before Union
Tennyson transferred to Union from Dyersburg State Community College where she played one season of softball. She prepped at Jackson South SIde (Tenn.) High School where she played softball, basketball, and volleyball. Tennyson was named all-district and all-tournament all four years of high school softball. Was named the Jackson-Madison County Sports Hall of Fame Female Athlete of the Year at South Side in 2012.
