Before Union
Carver first played college basketball at Longwood University, where he was named to the Dean's List, before transferring to Cape Fear Community College. He was named to Cape Fear's Dean's List and was a member of the Honor Society. Carver prepped at Ardrey Kell High School, where he played four years of basketball. He was a 2021 NCHSAA State Runner Up and 2021 Most Outstanding Player and was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-State Third Team. Off the court, Carver was a member of the Honor Society and was named A&B Honor Roll.
