  • Slugged .559 on 11 doubles and seven home runs 
  • Recorded 15 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games and one four-hit game

Before Union
Alarcon prepped at Cypress Creek High School where she played softball for four seasons. She also played three years of club softball for Break Away Speed. She helped lead her high school team to the bi-district title. Alarcon was named District MVP once and all-district three times. Merritt posted 153 strikeouts with a 1.83 ERA and 15 wins as a senior. Off the field, Merritt was a National Technological Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude.
