2016...GSC Freshman of the Week once...TSWA Player of the Week once...GSC Honor Roll. 2017...had 120 at bats... had 32 hits, 25 RBIs and 3 home runs...GSC Honor Roll...NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete. 2018...started 48 games...recorded 46 hits, 13 doubles, 4 home runs, 32 RBI...GSC Honor Roll.  2019...GSC Player of the Week once...first team All-GSC...D2CCA 1st team All-South Region...NFCA 1st team All-South Region...Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District...D2CCA All-America honorable mention...Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-America second team...Academic All-GSC...GSC Honor Roll...played in 52 games, recorded 66 hits, 15 doubles, 13 home runs, 53 RBI...finished career third in home runs in a season (13) and second in home runs in a career (26).

Before Union
Barnette prepped at Ravenwood High School where she played two years of volleyball and four years of softball. Her softball team was district and region champions in 2012 and 2013. She was awarded rookie of the year in 2012, all mid-state in 2013 and 2014, all state in 2013 and 2014, and played in the MTCA all star game in 2015.
