Before Union
Goddard prepped at Wilson Central High School in Lebanon, Tenn., where she started in four years of softball. Her team was District Runner-Up, Regional Champions, Sectional Champions, and placed fourth in the state. She was named All-District twice and Defensive Player of the Year. She also played seven years of travel softball.

Off the field, Goddard was a Tri-Star Scholar and member of National Beta Club. She also earned Distinction and became a certified CNA.
