Before Union
Chandler prepped at Bolton (Tenn.) High School where she played softball and volleyball. She helped lead her softball team to the state tournament quarterfinals in 2011, also winning region and district titles that season. Her team added a district title in 2009 along with numerous district and region runner-up finishes during her career. In 2012, Chandler was named the Bolton Fellowship of Christian Athletes Female Athlete of the Year and Bolton Softball Player of the Year, During her career, she accumulated numerous other honors including Comercial Appeal Pepsi Best of the Preps finalist twice, Commercial Appeal All-Metro team twice, Commerical Appeal Female Player of the Week, all-district three times, all-district tournament three times, Bolton Softball Best Overall Player, Will to Win Athlete of the Week, 3D Player of the Week, Will to Win Athlete of the Year, Bartlett Memorial NIT MVP, Softball Rookie of the Year and NFSA Nationals 12U Home Run Derby Champion. As a senior, Chandler led the team with a .455 batting average while recording 35 hits, 26 RBI, 24 runs and three home runs. She also led the team in hitting as a junior with a .451 average, recording 55 hits, 42 RBI, 26 runs and nine home runs. Off the field, Chandler was a member of the National Beta Club. She is the daughter of David and Cassandra (Casey ) Chandler.
