Andrew Scheck

Andrew Scheck is entering his third season after being named the Union University men's soccer assistant coach in April 2018. Scheck takes over for Scott Sinclair who was named the head coach for the Union women's team in March of 2018.
 
Scheck comes to Union after spending one year as an assistant coach for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC which is a professional team that plays in the USL. 
 
Before coaching for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, he spent five seasons at North Carolina State University. Scheck joined the Wolfpack coaching staff in 2012 as a volunteer assistant. For NC State, he was the Director of Sports Science for Men’s Soccer where he implemented fitness plans and collaborated with sports medicine to help with injury rehab and nutrition plan for team meals.
 
Scheck played collegiately at Liberty University for three years. He was named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll all three years, he graduated with his BS in Exercise Science in 2011. Scheck graduated with his MS in Exercise Physiology in 2017. 

Scheck is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and by the US Soccer Federation (USSF) National C license.

Scheck and his wife Lauren have been married for 3 years and live in Jackson.
