Before Union
Grill prepped at Knoxville Catholic High School where he played four years of soccer. He also played four years of club soccer with the FC Alliance. Grill was named the 2022 Knoxville Catholic Attacker of the Year. He tallied 15 goals and three assists in 2022. Off the field, Grill was a member of the National Honors Society, earned the Student-Athlete Award, and was on the honor roll all four years.
