2012... played in 16 contests... starter in 13 matches... made two assists... took 10 shots. 2013... senior season.

Before Union
Castro prepped at Haywood (Tenn.) High School where he played four seasons of soccer. Following his junior year, he was named MVP, all-region, all-district, and led the team in goals and assists. As a sophomore, Castro was named All-State, MVP, all-district team, and was the top scorer in west Tennessee. He was named MVP and led the team in goals as a freshman. Castro played club soccer for the Jackson Wolves in 2006, leading his team to their tournament championship.
