Before Union
Barrett transferred to Union after two seasons at Lincoln Trail Community College, where he was named second-team NJCAA All-Academic. During his prep years at Floyd Central High School, Barrett played two years of basketball and four years of baseball. He hit .438 and .442, respectively, in his junior and senior seasons.

Born November 16...son of Heidi and Brett Barrett...majoring in accounting with the hope of becoming a forensic accountant.
