Before Union
Russo prepped at James Clemens High School where he played four years of soccer. He also played club soccer for four years, two with Huntsville Futbol, one with United Soccer Club and one with ODP. He helped his United Soccer Club team advance to the region tournament. Russo eanred awards for both acacemic and athletic excellence.
