Before Union
Cook prepped at the Christian Academy of Knoxville. During his high school career, he ran cross country and track for four years. Cook led his team to the 2017 Homeschool National Title. He posted a personal best 5K time of 19:10 as a freshman. His personal record for the 1600m was 5:04 as a senior. Off the course, Cook was a member of the National Honors Society.Â
