Before Union
Stocking transferred to Union from Asbury (Ky.) University where he played basketball for two seasons. He helped lead the Asbury JV team to an undefeated season in 2013-14. He was selected to serve on the Student Athlete Advisory Council and was named to the Dean's List. Stocking prepped at the Christian Academy of Louisville where he played four years of basketball. Stocking helped lead his high school team to the region title in 2011. He was named team captain as a senior, all-district, and all-region. He added Vype Magazine's Top-10 small forwards for Louisville and Southern Indiana to his list of honors. He averaged 14 points, nine rebounds, and five assists per game. Off the court, Stocking was named KHSAA Academic All-State Honorable Mentioned and was a member of the National Beta Club.
